The Bill (Reg. No.2630) creates legal prerequisites for formation of a permanent network of territorial electoral units polling stations and territorial electoral districts. The Law "On the State Register of Electors" envisages such a network.
Pursuant to the Bill, ordinary (for voting by the place of elector´s residence), basic part of special (at the hospitals and penitentiary establishments), and foreign (at the official representative offices of Ukraine) polling stations should operate on a permanent basis.
The introduced motions will promote timely assignment of electors to the relevant polling stations, which will simplify compilation of the lists of electors at the stations (due to the State Register of Electors), and enable the electors to visit the place of voting beforehand.
